Archival Footage

My cousin Jenny has been going through old photos and home movies recently, and found this one that her dad filmed at my parent's wedding reception (the music is a song that some of their friends sang at the wedding).

My cousins are the all the kids running around, waving, and making faces. I love seeing them, and all the aunts, uncles, and grandparents too. I've seen many still pictures from my parent's wedding day, but it was so fun to see this video.

Saw this rug on Overstock.com a few days ago, and then again today. I just love it. It reminds me of some of Alexander Calder's work (with a different colour scheme of course). I have long loved Calder's work. He is more famous for his mobiles and stabiles than for anything else, but I love it all.

Giving Up My iPod for a Walkman


I used to have a bright yellow, waterproof "Walkman Sport" that I was so proud of and loved so much! I wonder if it is still in storage anywhere? I still have all my tapes, it might be kind of fun to pull out the walkman and listen to them.
