Sound
Listening to a new album today, "Ring" by Glasser, and can't get enough of it.
Check out the song "Mirrorage" here
*Looks like the link for streaming the whole album is no longer working, so I've taken it down. You can listen to the song "Home" by clicking here though. So that's two songs to give you a taste.

70 years
Hard to believe, but John Lennon would have been 70 years old today. Happy Birthday to the best of them all.

Source
I really enjoy the television show "Parenthood". Part of what I like about it is the set design. In particular, I'm in love with the painting in the above picture, and wish I knew the source. Unfortunately, the painting is not one of the items discussed in the article where I found the picture.

Flutter
I'm loving these shoes from Poetic License. They're whimsical and colorful and I want them! They remind me of butterfly wings, and if you know me very well you know how much I love butterflies, and blue, and blue butterflies!

Archival Footage
My cousin Jenny has been going through old photos and home movies recently, and found this one that her dad filmed at my parent's wedding reception (the music is a song that some of their friends sang at the wedding).
My cousins are the all the kids running around, waving, and making faces. I love seeing them, and all the aunts, uncles, and grandparents too. I've seen many still pictures from my parent's wedding day, but it was so fun to see this video.
Thank you Jenny, for putting it together and letting me share!

Frühlingskonzert
In case you don't already know, I am a member of the German Chorus Harmonie. Come to our Spring Concert next week, and you'll get to see me in a dirndl! If I finish sewing it on time, that is. Click on the flyer for a larger image and all the details.

spiral II
Saw this rug on Overstock.com a few days ago, and then again today. I just love it. It reminds me of some of Alexander Calder's work (with a different colour scheme of course). I have long loved Calder's work. He is more famous for his mobiles and stabiles than for anything else, but I love it all.

woah horsie!
Yes, I know I never blog anymore, but I just had to post this AMAZING rocking "horse" I saw on Etsy today.
It will cost you $2000.00, plus a few hundred more for shipping, but boy oh boy is it cool!
